STEPS TO BETTER EATING

This is a cyclical development model. Your nutrition will always be a work in progress. As your goals and life change, so should your nutrition.

The steps give you a framework for where to look for changes when you don’t execute on your nutrition as desired.

It’s your life to live and you have the power to make it better. You must first take ownership of your choices before you can make disciplined decisions.

Set the stage for success with a healthy environment by eliminating distractions and tempting foods. Consider your three environments: Home, Social, and Work.

Plan your schedule and strategize your meals for the week, minimizing guesswork and maximizing nutrition.

Stick to a shopping list created by your nutrition plan for the week.

Having healthy meals ready to go will help you avoid unhealthy choices. Prep based on your schedule and budget.

Steps 1-5 make it so you have to opt-out to go off plan, rather than opt-in to be on plan. Set up your environments so health is the easier option.

Reflect on your progress, learn from experiences, and repeat the cycle for continued success.
